Terms & conditions for Potton Hall Spa

Your experience at Potton Hall will vary depending on the season you visit.

Visitors should expect to go outside to move between the Spa and the Yurt for example. Dressing gowns and flip flops are provided for your visit. Guests may bring their own if desired.

To ensure your visit runs as smoothly as possible please:

  • Arrive 15 minutes before your appointment time. This is to enable you to fill out the client consultation form and to enable us to provide information about your day.
  • Do not bring babies or children into the treatment room whilst having your treatment.
  • Do not bring pets into the spa except working dogs and guide dogs.
  • Lockers are provided for all spa guests to store their belongings whilst on our premises. Belongings are not to be left unattended in the changing rooms or spa area at any time. Potton Hall is not to be held responsible for the loss of any items that have not been locked away.
  • Lost locker keys are charged at £5 each.
  • Staff are to be treated with respect at all times. We operate a zero tolerance policy meaning a guest may be asked to leave if they display inappropriate behaviour.

Treatments

  • The treatments available and their prices may change without notice.
  • A cancellation charge of 50% of the treatment booked applies unless 24 hours notice is given.
  • Special medical considerations should be notified to your therapist at Potton Hall as some of our treatments may not be suitable.
  • A patch test at Potton Hall is required for ALL tinting treatments at least 24-48 hours before your appointment. Patch tests or recent treatments elsewhere are not accepted as a reason to go ahead with tinting at Potton Hall.
  • Please remove all polish or gel applications prior to your visit for our nail services. Removal of gel applications cannot be guaranteed on the day and you will be charged for the removal.
  • If you are using a gift voucher as payment you must bring the original voucher with you.
  • If a client is late to their appointment, their treatment time will be reduced unless there is a vacant appointment directly after.
  • No children under the age of 16 are allowed in the treatment areas, unless accompanied at all times by an adult and by prior arrangement.
  • Should a client unhappy with any aspect of their treatment, they are asked to raise their concern before they leave Potton Hall so that the issue can be addressed.
  • Pregnant women are asked to advise us of their condition at the time of booking to ensure the treatments suitability.

Spa Packages/Days

  • The Terms and Conditions for Treatments apply as well as:-
  • Full payment is required at time of booking for all spa packages and is non-refundable.
  • Bookings using gift vouchers must be made in advance and are subject to availability.
  • Whilst every attempt to keep treatment and lunch times at a convenient time for the the guest, treatment and lunch times will be pre-scheduled prior to your arrival. They are also subject to change without prior notice. Clients will be informed of treatment and lunch times upon arrival.
  • If appointments are missed we cannot offer a replacement time or refund.
  • Our client’s health and wellbeing is our priority.
  • Pregnant women are asked to advise us of their condition at the time of booking. The NHS website states that “there’s little research on using saunas, jacuzzi’s, hot tubs and steam rooms during pregnancy. But it’s advisable to avoid them because of the risks of overheating, dehydration and fainting. You’re likely to feel warmer than normal during pregnancy.” We ask our pregnant clients to use these facilities as they wish as they know their bodies best.
  • Potton Hall is not a medical centre and our staff are not trained medical practitioners. Clients with long term illnesses, such as cancer, severe allergies or general ill health should seek clarification from their medical advisors before booking treatments. Potton Hall Spa may ask for a current doctor’s letter before any treatment.
  • ‘Buy one get one free days’ must be taken at the same time, the voucher is issued for two persons and may not be separated.
  • Please be mindful that your spa package time also includes showering and changing back into your day clothes.
  • Should a client be unhappy with any aspect of their visit, they are asked to raise their concern before they leave Potton Hall so that this issues may be addressed.

Gift Vouchers

Gift vouchers are valid until the expiry date shown and cannot be redeemed or replaced after this date. Potton Hall Spa is not responsible for lost or stolen vouchers, and is not responsible for replacing a voucher that has been lost or stolen. Vouchers are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for cash. Vouchers are valid for the amount, treatment or package shown.

Terms & conditions for the Cottages

  • All bookings are to be paid for in advance.
  • Check in from 3pm.
  • Check out by 11am.
  • Use of spa facilities is included within the hire cost however, restrictions of use do apply for under 16’s.
  • Under 16’s – use of the swimming pool and spa facilities is not allowed between 10:00am and 6:00pm, unless notified otherwise by spa reception.
  • One well-behaved dog is allowed for the duration of your stay. Dogs must be kept on a lead whilst outside.

Terms & conditions for the Recording Studio

  • Your reservation will be held for a period of 14 days during which you are expected to pay your 50% deposit.
  • A minimum of 50% deposit is required to secure your booking.
  • If accommodation is required, this needs to be booked at the same time as recording. Payment terms are the same as the studio.
  • All invoices need to be paid in full within 30 days before the recording date.
  • Bookings made within 60 days of the recording date need to be paid for in full at the time of booking.
  • All payments are non-refundable but can be credited towards future bookings, if postponement or cancellation becomes necessary.
