Our Most FAQ’s
Can I arrange private events / hen packages or bespoke days?
Yes! We love hosting these kind of events! Simply contact us giving details of what you’re looking for and we’ll be in touch discuss things further.
What products do you use in the spa and why?
Germaine de Capuccini makes a great commitment to care for the world around us. This is why we choose its range of products here at Potton Hall. Not only is it part of the CO2 zero project, it rejects animal testing, only uses Palm Oil with the RSPO label and uses all natural ingredients, sustainably and ethically sourced.
Of real importance to us here at Potton Hall is that Germaine de Capuccini is one of the ten companies that make up the STANPA Foundation. This project is promoted by STANPA (National Association of Perfumery and Cosmetics) and aims to implement the “Look Good, Feel Better” program in Europe; supporting women with cancer.
At Potton Hall we feel good about using Germaine de Capuccini products and you will too.
Can children visit Potton Hall?
You need to be 16 or over to use the spa and have treatments. Younger children visiting The Yurt, Recording Studio and Cottages must be strictly supervised due to the open water in our grounds.
Is there disabled access for wheelchair users?
The grounds of Potton Hall are on one level and we welcome all visitors. However, the terrain especially during autumn and winter, can be a little heavy for wheelchair users , pushchairs and mobility scooters etc. A portable ramp is available to access the Yurt and spa building when required.
Are dogs allowed at Potton Hall?
We are so dog friendly! Happy dogs can relax outside or inside the Yurt with their owners after a great adventure across the heath. We do ask that they are kept on a lead at all time, please. Dogs are not allowed in the spa building itself, with the exception of assistance dogs. If you are staying in the cottages, we can allow well behaved family dogs but please advise us prior to your visit so we can make sure your pooch is catered for. What we don’t like at Potton Hall is dogs that are left in cars, especially on hot summer days. Please don’t plan your day with this in mind. Our car park has very little shade and we’d hate for any dog to become unwell.
When is the best time to visit?
Every season at Potton Hall is different. The warmer months allow more use of the outdoor space; relax under the oak tree in your hammock, wander through the fragrant walkways or sit amongst the flowers in the meditation garden. Autumn is a spectacle of colour as you would imagine; a long walk then a massage, finishing off with afternoon tea is a healthy day out for couples or friends. The highlight of winter is the Christmas Craft and Gift Fayre but the spa remains busy with cold water swimmers, regular spa visitors and tourists braving the wild Suffolk coast. The Yurt provides a hearty, winter menu to nourish you.
